Artist Statement
I am a freelance journalist and memorist. My articles have been published in the New York Times, Communication Arts, Harvard Magazine and more. I teach memoir writing workshops at the Hudson Valley Writers' Center and the Pelham Art Center. My memoirs appear in a variety of journals and anthologies. I am the co-author with Vicki Addesso, Joan Potter and Lori Toppel of the collaborative memoir "Still Here Thinking of You: A Second Chance With Our Mothers" (Big Table Publishing, 2013).
