Organization Overview
The PJS Jazz Society produces the Second Sunday Jazz Concerts each month from September to April, at the First Presbyterian Church, 199 N Columbus Ave (corner of Lincoln Ave) in Mount Vernon.
Thanks to funding support from ArtsWestchester, the Westchester County Government and its Board of Legislators, and the Decentralization Program of the New York State Council on the Arts, we are able to hire top-name Jazz Musicians and keep our ticket prices at affordable levels.
Most concerts include an opening act by Young Musicians, and all concerts include two full sets by the headline group. Concerts are held in a cabaret setting.
