Artist Statement
JeanMarie Garofolo is a professional opera singer who can sing anything from Handel,Mozart, Puccini, Bellini, to contemporary classical music and broadway show tunes. She is availble to sing for any special events including: weddings, church services, holiday parties, and corporate events. Having performed in Sweden, Germany, Chicago and New York, JeanMarie is a seasoned recitalist and specializes in German, French, and Italian Art Songs as well as operatic and oratorio work. She is open to singing for any concerts and operatic productions in the area. She is hailed as being a true communicator with a passion for conveying honesty and pure emmotion in her performances, while staying true to the text and music. She will be sure to make you laugh, cry and touch your hearts for good.
