Bold Visions and Dynamic Spirits: The Inaugural Yellow Studio Juried Member Show
Cross River, NY–The Gallery at Yellow Studio is thrilled to present its inaugural Juried Member Show, a vibrant celebration showcasing the diverse talents of our creative member community. Juried and curated by gallery Founder and Director Tina Villaveces, this highly anticipated exhibition brings together selected works from Yellow Studio’s remarkable women artists, highlighting the breadth and depth of artistic expression flourishing in our region. The exhibition runs from November 23 to December 20. Celebrate creativity with us at the opening reception on Saturday, November 23, from 4 to 6pm.
From Allison Belolan’s layered studies of the female form to Rebecca Rivard’s woven landscapes, from Angela Strassheim’s intimate mirror reflections to Julie Rosenberg’s painted guitars and Sophie Reisz’s contemplative still lifes, this exhibition showcases the dynamic range of artistic voices within our community. The selected works invite viewers into unique worlds: celebrations of bodily beauty merge with explorations of natural rhythms through interlacing lines. At the same time, moments of profound self-reflection stand alongside transformed musical instruments and quiet observations of everyday objects. Together, these pieces contribute to the larger narrative of the thriving creative hub of Yellow Studio.

ABOUT THE JUROR
Tina Villaveces brings nearly a decade of experience in the New York art world to her role as juror and curator. With an MA in Museum Studies from NYU and extensive experience at prestigious institutions, including Pace Gallery, MoMA, and the Guggenheim, Villaveces brings a sophisticated curatorial eye and a deep commitment to supporting women artists. As Founder and Director of Yellow Studio, she has created a vital space for artistic discovery and community building in the lower Hudson Valley.
