Freelance Writers for

ArtsNews

In the pages of ArtsNews, we aim to reflect the diversity of voices that are present in our Westchester County community. As such, we are looking to expand our roster of freelance writers.

While we do much of our writing in-house, we occasionally have articles to assign to our team of freelancers. That can be you!

If you have a background in article writing, are familiar with the arts scene in Westchester, and are interested in being considered for future assignments, please send an email with your resume/experience and related writing samples to mafranklin@artswestchester.org. We’ll keep your info on file and if an assignment arises for which we think you’d be a good fit, we’ll be in touch!

Preference will be given to those who work/live in Westchester. No phone calls, please.

Arts Ambassador

Program

Arts Ambassadors program is a unique opportunity to help ArtsWestchester engage with arts organizations and patrons by supporting and participating in innovative programs.

Arts Ambassadors are volunteers who value the arts and understand the role that arts play in improving education, enriching lives, and building communities. Above and beyond the specific activities they undertake, volunteers are truly ambassadors for ArtsWestchester by helping the public better understand what ArtsWestchester does and its impact in the county.

Arts Ambassadors make a year-long commitment to the Program and are available for agreed upon daytime, evening and/or weekend activities and projects.

If you are interested in learning more about the Ambassador Program, its opportunities, and guidelines and application are available here.

ArtsWestchester is an equal opportunity employer. ArtsWestchester seeks candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences and artistic interests to apply. Women, minorities, and veterans are encouraged to apply.
