Four Renowned Poets to Celebrate Fifty Years of Katonah Poetry Series

Katonah Poetry Series (KPS) is celebrating its fiftieth year of consistently hosting acclaimed contemporary poets in the intimate setting of Katonah Village Li­brary’s Garden Room. A collision of notable talents will take place on May 13, when KPS hosts a reading and panel discussion with a lineup that consists of established American poets who have read for the Series in the past. The participating poets include two-time US Poet Laureate and longtime KPS advisor Billy Collins, National Book Award winner Mark Doty, New York State Poet Laureate Marie Howe (2012-14) and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Vijay Seshadri. Collins will lead a panel discussion, during which the poets will explore connections and trends in con­temporary poetry as well as discuss where the art-form may progress to next.
