The Best Match: Poetry for Literary Journals with Amy Holman (6-week class, In person at HVWC)
In this class, Amy Holman will teach you how to match the poems you write to the best possible literary journal editors. She will teach you quick ways of assessing what is published by answering a set of questions about each poem. This will, in turn, help you assess your own poetic style. Literary journals can also be creatively inspiring, and in this class you will be encouraged to write new poems that are influenced by the poets we read, and by the editorial interests of the journal editors.
NB: This six-week class will be taught in person at HVWC and will be capped at 12 students. NO CLASS ON MAY 7th. Please review the course policies page before registering for any classes. Please email misty@writerscenter.org with any questions.
