Get your ideas out of your sketchbook! Students will enjoy painting in the studio in class and outdoors in an interactive environment. In this class, students will learn from discussion, group critique, examples of art while honing art skills of observation, gesture, composition, value, color mixing, and brushstroke, etc. The teaching artist demonstrates painting and drawing techniques for portraiture, representing the human form, and landscape, abstraction. This class will be in person.
