This exhibition has come full circle. Gert had a studio at The Schoolhouse for many years. It is a pleasure that this venue becomes the third leg of this travelling exhibition.
GERT MATHIESEN (1951-2013), with an exhibition of twenty-five works of art. A renown Danish painter, printmaker, and ceramicist, Mathiesen died prematurely at the age of 62. He was very prolific and left an extensive body of work: over 1000+paintings on canvas, works on paper, linoleum and ceramics. His art has been exhibited and sold all over the United States and Europe and can be found in corporate and private collections all over the world.
