The eerie sculptures are a beautiful setting for daytime leaf-peeping, or a mysterious nighttime experience backdropped by the kids’ scarecrows. The display will give visitors the opportunity to explore areas of the site that they would not normally discover.
Always a popular place for fall leaf-peeping, Lyndhurst’s grounds will be particularly beautiful leaves change color and begin to reveal spectacular views of the Hudson River and new Mario Cuomo Bridge. At night, the reflective sculptures are dramatically lit for a supernatural, eerie quality. Walking the secluded landscape in the dark is always a major part of the experience.
