Microcosm: Upstream Gallery Small Works 2025

 

Entry Fee: $45.00 for a minimum of 3 pieces; $4.00 additional for each entry thereafter up to a maximum of 8 pieces. ($65) All pieces must be for sale. The gallery will retain a commission of 30% on all sales.

 

Deadline for Entries: Friday, December 6^th at midnight.

 

Every work of art is a universe of its own.  For this year’s Small Works show, we invite artists to submit work that speaks to the idea of the microcosm: an echo of a larger universe.

The show will be held at Upstream Gallery, our well-known, beautiful venue only 20 minutes from Manhattan in Hastings on Hudson NY. The exhibit will hang from January 9th to January 26th with an opening reception Sunday January 12th, 2025. 

 

Eligible work: U.S. National entries in all media are welcome including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, non-photographic digital images and sculpture. The size limit is 20″ in any direction including the frame or base. All accepted works must be framed and wired for hanging. Sculptures must include their own base. Please note that photography is no longer eligible for this show. If you are a photographer, please submit your work to our upcoming photography show in February. 

 

All entries must be made via Submittable.

Key Dates:

 

Submissions Deadline: Friday, December 6^th at midnight

Delivery of work via UPS or FedEx: Friday, January 3^rd by 5:00 pm.

In Person Delivery of work: Monday, January 6^th from 10 to 2 pm

Show opens January 9^th , 2025

Opening Reception: Sunday January 12^th, 2-5 pm

Last day of show: Sunday January 26^th, 2025

Local Artists Pick Up Work at Gallery: Monday January 27^th, 2025 from 10 to 2 pm
